Radio Production

NCM Hub holds the license for Joppa Radio – WJOP 96.3 FM. This low power non-commercial community radio is transmitted from Newburyport High School and can reach listeners within a 3-10 mile radius. WJOP also is streaming from our website. Radio programming content is decided by the NCM Hub Board of Directors in conjunction with the Radio Committee Chair and Executive Director. If you are interested in having a radio program, you would start by creating a podcast. After consist podcasting for 3-6 months, an inquiry can be made to the Executive Director. Radio programming is based on what the board, radio chair, and Executive Director feel is educational and informational for the Newburyport community. WJOP is not community access radio. NCM Hub welcomes all created content on Comcast Channel 8 and WJOP SoundCloud.
