a “Gentle Goodbye”
Rev. Rebecca Bryan of First Religious Society Unitarian Universalist (FRSUU) has been a frequent and always welcome guest for her thoughtful, warm, compassionate take on social justice, activism, everyday challenges, and all things spiritual. She’s one of Greater Newburyport’s treasures.
This week, I will talk with Rev. Rebecca about the timely topic of transitions. She will be leaving her role as minister of FRSUU in June, so we’ll discuss how it’s possible to know when change is calling, how to decide whether or not to heed the call, how to deal with emotions about whom or what is being left behind, and how to discern what new steps are calling for action.
In addition to speaking about her own transition, Rev. Rebecca will talk about ways to we all can cope with the many major social and political transitions happening rapidly and simultaneously in the nation and the world today.
Rev. Rebecca will also proffer a “gentle good-bye” to FRSUU and the larger community.
