Newburyport Public Schools and all public buildings will remain closed today as the Department of Public Services continues clearing streets, parking lots, and sidewalks.
Parking Ban: The parking ban will be lifted at 10:00 AM. Once lifted, vehicles parked in city lots will have 12 hours to be removed.
Trash & Compost: Trash collection will take place today following a holiday Monday schedule.
Black Earth Compost will also operate on a one-day delay.
As storm cleanup continues, we would like to remind all residents that snow should not be thrown or blown into the roadway, as this creates hazardous conditions and slows down snowplow operations.
