This Week’s Morning Show Features:
Rev. Rebecca Bryan on Religion & Politics & Other Issues
A returning and always welcome guest, Rev. Rebecca Bryan of First Religious Society Unitarian Universalist will visit this week, and I’m eager to hear her insights into the state of our nation and world, and how we can cope, engage, influence, fix, and hopefully begin to heal the often baffling, too frequently sad and outrageous conditions we confront with every day’s news.
Rev. Rebecca and I will talk about about how we can respond to these turbulent and troubling times, including the ICE initiated violence in Minneapolis. How do we balance engaging with others in resistance or protest while also taking care of ourselves? How do we deal with anger and avoid despair?
She will share her considerable wisdom about where and how we move forward. She will also talk about the relationship between religion and politics, and the role of hope to see us through these tumultuous times.
