Colonial Newburyport: A Historic Homes Happy Hour Tour
May 31st, 2025 | 1:00 p.m. | 1 hour (approx.)

The coastal city of Newburyport can trace its colonial roots back to the early 1600s. Its location along the banks of the Merrimack River created a prosperous maritime economy, and today much of its downtown reflects this history through the many streets lined with beautifully preserved colonial homes.

There is so much to see in Newburyport; this is the third tour of our colonial series here, featuring interior stops and other homes not seen on our previous tours.

Join us for this unique experience to see a collection of these historic homes, inside and out, and immerse yourself in culture and history. Interior stops include a mid-18th-century home with an impressive array of historic features in tact and a 1792 home that provides a stunning glimpse of the refined living of its early mercantile class.

Offered one time only! Space is limited.

This is a guided walking “happy hour” tour, no libations but a lot of fun packed into an hour! (Please note, this is an approximate time, the tour may be slightly longer, but Happy Hour and 15 Minutes doesn’t have the same ring…)
