Public Forum on Fluoride in Newburyport’s Water Supply – March 6th at 6pm.
The City of Newburyport will host a public forum to discuss the ongoing concerns and benefits of fluoride in the local water supply. The forum is open to all community members and will provide an opportunity for residents to voice their opinions on the topic. There will be a brief presentation by city officials to present current practices, policies, and health recommendations from State and Federal agencies. Following the presentation, residents are welcomed to provide public comment. Please note there will not be a Board of Health vote at this meeting on this topic. Ward 5 City Councillor Jim McCauley and the Mayor Sean Reardon’s Chief of Staff, Christian Cyr will moderate the forum in coordination with the city’s Health Department.
