Greg Coles Talks about Latin Dance…
& Ahavas Achim’s Latin Dance Class Fundraiser
Greg Coles, who teaches Latin Dance and African Dance at the Dance Place in Newburyport as well as offering dance and drum instruction in communities across the North Shore, will visit this week to talk about the Latin Dance Class Fundraiser he will teach on Saturday, March 1st at 7 p.m. at Congregation Ahavas Achim at 53 ½ Washington Street.
Individuals and couples are welcome to come learn Latin dance, including the always popular Salsa.
Formally trained in ballet, jazz, modern, African, and Latin dance, Coles will talk about his passion for Latin dance, the history of salsa, his approach to teaching, and his mission to build community through the arts. He’ll also talk about how he helps people overcome inhibitions about dancing.
Having taught thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds to dance, Coles will share his observations of the many benefits people derive from dancing.
