Due to the holiday season, there will be no curbside trash or recycling pick up on December 25th and January 1 and will be delayed one day thereafter. Trash and recycling that is typically picked up on Wednesday will be picked up on Thursday, Thursday to Friday and Friday will be picked-up on Saturday. The Downtown District, however, WILL NOT be affected by the holidays.
Christmas Tree Disposal
The Old Newbury Christmas Tree Bonfire has been canceled. Instead, Christmas trees will be brought to Spencer-Pierce-Little Farm to get chipped. Starting December 30, Christmas trees will be picked up at the curb until the end of January. You can also bring your tree to Spencer Pierce Little Farm off of High Road.
Colby Farm Lane Recycling Center
The recycling center will be open Mondays and Thursdays, weather permitting, from 12:15 PM to 2:15 PM. We will also be open the first Saturday of January, 1/4, from 8 AM to 12 PM. Cash or check only.
