Port Gingerbread Festival 2024 with
Mary Dissette and Diane Simmons
Mary Dissette, Founder and President on the non-profit Port Gingerbread Festival, and Festival Volunteer Diane Simmons, will visit the show this week to talk about the success and popularity of last year’s inaugural Festival, and what to expect from this year’s 2nd annual event.
Mary and Diane will describe the “endless possibilities” of entries made by children, families, teens, adults, youth groups, civic and community organizations, and businesses, ranging from “traditional” gingerbread houses to ships, churches, lighthouses, carriages or castles.
Both a contest and an exhibition of creations, the Festival will take place Friday – Sunday, December 13th – 15th at Central Congregational Church at 14 Titcomb Street in Newburyport.
