This week I have the pleasure of talking with Sally Nutt and Ann Johnson, Co-chairs of the Amesbury Cultural Council’s 28th Annual Open Studios, along with award-winning abstract painter and digital illustrator Heather Karp.
I will talk with Sally and Ann about the highlights and logistics of the city-wide show of more than 80 artists, including new venues that will feature live music.
Then I’ll speak with Heather and Ann (also an artist) about the benefits of opening their studios to the public during this event, and what they hear from participants about what they enjoy about and learn from the experience.
Scheduled for Nov. 9th from 10 AM – 5 PM and Nov. 10th from 11 AM – 4 PM, information about participating artists and musicians, a free trolley providing transportation to sites, and activities for kids can be found at www.amesburyculturalcouncil.org/open-studios
