The City of Newburyport will hold a public ascertainment hearing regarding the Renewal Cable License of Cable Communications Management, LLC (formerly Comcast of Massachusetts I), Inc. on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. at the Newburyport Senior Community Center, 331 High Street, Newburyport, MA with an option for remote attendance and participation via Zoom.
All Newburyport residents and persons associated with a Newburyport organization or business are encouraged the hearing. The purpose of the hearings is to:
(a) Identify future cable-related community needs and interests, and
(b) Review the performance of the cable operator under its current Cable License.
The hearing is being held pursuant to the Massachusetts Cable Law (M.G.L. c. 166A, sec. 13) and the regulations of the Massachusetts Dept. of Telecommunications and Cable (207 C.M.R 3.05).
Applications, reports, statements and/or amendments, if any, will be available for review, download and/or reproduction from the Office of the Mayor.
