This week I’m looking forward to a conversation with James Russell, Executive Director of the Custom House Maritime Museum. We’ll talk about his vision for the evolving role of the museum within the community; upcoming exhibits and programs; and programs the museum has developed to engage children.
Marking St. Patrick’s Day, James will also talk about his upcoming presentation on Sunday, March 17th, ”Land of Saints and Scholars (and a Few Scoundrels too): An Overview of Irish History” from 2 – 3 PM at the museum, 25 Water Street. (If you’re like me, you’ll be curious to see how he manages to fit this topic into an hour!) Free admission for museum members; $10 for non-members.
