February 16th, 7pm, join us for a circle of rhythm and song! Bring drums and percussion instruments or play those provided. All ages and experiences are welcome.
March 1st, 7pm, don’t miss featured act, multi-instrumentalist Reg Bacon, veteran hot jazz tenor banjoist, guitarist, vocalist — and circus/vaudevillian emeritus — who will play a handful of fun-and-snappy tunes on an array of vintage instruments. As a historian of early 20th-century popular music and entertainment, he is the author of more than a dozen books, including the most recent, hot off the press, Jazzin’ On 4 Strings: Hot Jazz in Chicago Tuning.
