The Newburyport Public Library is hosting an upcoming in-person and virtual
program! Check out all of the events we are hosting on our website.

Monday, October 16th at 6 pm: Crystal Healing for Beginners (IN-PERSON).
This program is for both Teens & Adults. Space is limited. Registration required.
Join Leeza Masia from the Tarot Collective for a workshop all about how to incorporate
the healing energies of the crystal kingdom into your life.
Leeza has an exciting & colorful collection of crystals that she is happy to share about
with anyone interested in learning more about our mineral friends. After focusing on the
informational backgrounds on some of the minerals, she will guide through the process
of setting up a personal crystal grid. Crystal grids are effective in creating beneficial
energy spaces in your home or work areas, that are able to transmute energies that are
not serving you well. Join in on the fun & come rock out with us!

Tuesday, October 17 th at 6 pm: Things That Go Bump in the Night: The History and
Impact of Horror Film (VIRTUAL).
If you dare, come see how onscreen horror began! In this virtual presentation, you will
see how horror began and entertaining snippets of some brilliant films produced by
American cinema shown on our big screen. A public high school English and Film teacher, Frank has spoken on a wide variety of film-
related topics throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut for over ten years.
In addition to co-hosting the award-winning movie show Reel Life for local cable
TV for eight years and making guest appearances on other local programs, he hosts the
podcast Silver Screeners and co-hosts Movies Across the Pod.
This is a virtual event. Registration required. This event is intended for adults.
