The Newburyport Public Library is hosting upcoming in-person programs!
Check out all of the events we are hosting on our website.

Monday, July 31st from 1 pm to 4 pm: Community Art Banner! (IN-PERSON).
Newburyport PL is kicking off Yankee Homecoming week and we want the community’s
help! Come stop by on the front lawn of the Library anytime between 1 pm and 4 pm to
participate in drawing and painting a community banner. Once the banner is finished, we
will be hanging it around the Library for the whole community to see!
This event is for all ages and supported by the Friends of the Newburyport Public
Library. No registration required. Drop in anytime.

Tuesday, August 1st from 6 pm to 8 pm: Game On! Board Game Night (IN-PERSON).
Enjoying Yankee Homecoming and you don’t want the fun to stop? Join us in the Program
Room for a board game night! Get excited for a night of games with family and/or friends
(new and old). Play your favorite games, learn new games, and meet new people in the
community. The library will provide board games, but you are encouraged to bring your
favorite games to teach as well!
This event is for all ages. No registration required. Drop in anytime.

Thursday, August 3rd from 1 pm to 4 pm: Library of Things! On The Lawn (IN-
PERSON). Whether or not you’ve heard of our collection of Library of Things, here is a
chance to come test some of them out! Drop in anytime between 1 pm and 4 pm on the
front lawn to play some games from our Library of Things collection.
This event is for all ages. No registration required. Drop in anytime.

Saturday, August 5th from 10 am to 4:30 pm: Movie Marathon! Superheroes (IN-
PERSON). Is the Summer heat getting to you? Need a break from all the great Yankee
Homecoming activities for a few hours? Drop in on our Movie Marathon!
We’ll be playing movies all day in our air conditioned Program Room for patrons to relax
and cool off before venturing back outside for more festivities. Patrons of all ages are
encouraged to come!
