Autism Awareness on “The Morning Show”
May 25, 2021- Robyn Powley, M. Ed., a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, will visit “The Morning Show” on Thursday, May 27th to discuss Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
- Host Mary Jacobsen will interview Powley about her Exeter, NH based practice working with families that have children on the Autism Spectrum, using Applied Behavior Analysis to help manage behavior and create positive environments.
- Powley will describe the range of behaviors and capabilities included on the Autism Spectrum. She will correct common misconceptions about persons on the Spectrum, as well as discuss the incidence of ASD in the U.S. and what behavioral signs prompt parents or teachers to seek evaluation. She will also share success stories about children and families she’s worked with.
