I’m looking forward to talking with Certified Grief Specialist Barbara Hopkinson about coping with the many cumulative sources of loss and grief we’ve all encountered during the pandemic, ranging from missed graduations, vacations, and social or cultural events to lost jobs or the death or illness of loved ones.
Barbara will also tell the inspiring story of how her own encounters with multiple major losses led her to found the organization A Butterfly’s Journey, which provides support and resources for people dealing with any kind of loss.
I’m also delighted to welcome back historian and baseball super fan Anthony Guerriero. On past shows, Anthony has brought to life the biography and legacy of Thomas Jefferson and heroic sports pioneer Jackie Robinson. Anyone who has been missing Major League Baseball will enjoy learning more on this week’s show about the life and legacy of legendary Red Sox slugger Ted Williams.
