NCM Hub’s 2nd Annual Independence Celebration
Celebrating Freedom.
NEWBURYPORT – The Greater Newburyport Community Media Hub, located at 331 High St, Suite 2, will hold their Second Annual Independence Celebration on Sunday, July 22nd from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This Celebration will host a live radio broadcast of Frederick Douglass’s Speech performed by members of the Newburyport community, Joe Vecchione and Ellyane Klein, at 11:30 a.m.
The event will also have a station to handwrite letters, an exhibit exploring the history of Yankee Homecoming, quizzes and games of Constitution trivia, FREE T-shirts, and other creative and interactive activities to engage in the event’s theme of What Does Freedom Mean to You?
In addition, from 2 to 3 p.m., there will be a citizens roundtable discussion on a topic that will be determined by its participants. NCM Hub welcomes all voices of the community to attend this event.
